Note: MFC's Access Agreement is also included on this page as a reference. Our team will also provide this form to finalize your access.

MFC staff appreciate your interest in accessing the MFC building and plan to respond within 2-3 business days.
The large meeting room is 33 feet by 27 feet (33'x27') including large windows overlooking the forest and a cathedral ceiling. This space accommodates up to 60 people seated at round tables (6 people per table; approximately 46-48 inch tables) or 100 people in theater-style seating. Use of chairs and tables is included.

Access to the MFC building includes barrier-free access to a fully-stocked kitchen with plates, cups, silverware, and a new industrial gas stove. The kitchen features a spacious pass-through window along the front wall, creating an open connection to the adjacent living area and allowing for easy serving. Running parallel to the kitchen is a hallway that provides convenient circulation through the home while maintaining a sense of separation between the workspace and adjoining rooms.

We also offer event signage to guide participants from M-52 and Waterloo Rd. to the parking lot. There are also light blockers for windows (e.g., for a movie night).

There is also new electronic equipment that enables projection for presentations including a 65” x 37” Amazon Fire TV.

If there will be food prepared on-site, someone on your team must be ServSafe certified. For example, this could be a caterer. Simple meals with minimal preparations, such as sandwiches, do not require SafeServ certification. If you are not charging to attend your event you do not need this certification.

The Michigan Friends Center is nestled into 90 wooded and lakefront acres of the Friends Lake Cooperative Community. The Center is available by reservation year-round for day use and is designed to efficiently accommodate a variety of group activities.

For a small non-profit organization or small low-profit organization, the recommended donation is $100 for a half day (4 hours or less) and $320 for a full day (14 hours or less 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.).

For a large non-profit organization or private individual, the recommended donation is $280 for a half day (4 hours or less) and $480 for a full day (14 hours or less 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.).

A Security Deposit of $200 is required to pay for cleaning and/or repair when completing the Access Agreement. If building and grounds — in the assessment of MFC’s Event Manager or Board Member — are restored to their initial condition before the event, then MFC will return the Security Deposit in full.

The full donation to use the space is also due when the Access Agreement is completed.
